Take Action for Forests

Call your local Labor MP or MLC to tell them you want the government to deliver a full Great Koala National Park.

A fully protected Great Koala National Park will be a major step in ending logging in our public native forests. We stand at a crucial point in the story of our precious forests.

After decades community action the NSW Government must now decide whether to achieve a lasting peace in our remaining public native forests.

The alternative is to continue to prop up a damaging and dying industry for another few years and risk the extinction of koalas, greater gliders and many other species in our native forests.

  • You are concerned about the delay in declaring the Great Koala National Park and the continued logging within the proposed park.

  • You are worried that the Minns Government will not protect the full 175 000 hectares and that precious habitat of endangered species like koalas and greater gliders will not be protected.

  • There is no secure future for communities in logging public native forests. Alternatives must be resourced to keep these communities prosperous and secure.

  • Ending logging is also climate action.

Make sure to thank them for their time.
